Once Upon A Time
Tom Donahue didn't invent Underground Radio.
"Big Daddy" sure fathered it. Tom was so virile,
Corporations started buying baby FMs.  Greed
started warping Underground into Top 40 FM,
destroying the very Format they purchased.

Tom and music-in-his-soul friend Francis
Coppola were horrified. And each felt
their Power to DO Something About It!


DEAL:  Soundtrack for a Lifestyle
Francis Coppola and Tom Donahue shook hands
and each agreed:  Francis would buy KMPX,
Tom would reprogram a Lifestyle Soundtrack
free from payola Inc., and every night at 7PM
the music pauses for a LIVE Radio Drama
broadcast from Coppola's Theatre. We would
Save The Segue — Save The rEvolution!

Scant hours later, Big Daddy Tom Donahue
went home and died from an excess of Happiness!
His Heart burst with joy—literally.  And with him
went our last best chance to save Creative Radio.

When is the last time You heard a segue?
FM today is 99% narrowcasting.
MTV is 100% Payola. Now Clear Channel owns
80%+ of Rock Radio. Big Brother Programming.
Combined effect: an entire Generation of Kids
with zero connection between Music and Spirit.
   



WE are The Ones we've been waiting for.

Hey - I'm no Tom Donahue. I possess not a whit
of his powerful Personality. Far less charisma.
Likely fit ten of me into his pants, if not his shoes.

Yet I swear unto you I have The Vision to carry on.
Ready to do the Work to re-make our rEvolution!



Thus, I should prove a Marketable Relic—
the "safe" remake of a proven Hit.
To do it to MTV like FM did it to AM
if backed by YOU—and an underwriter
like... Levi's Bob Haas?   Can we talk?
